If the Republican Primary Election were held today, which of the following candidates would you vote for? (Options were randomized to prevent first-answer default responses.)
WV Statewide conducted text-based polling in Q2 and Q3 of 2023. In these previous polls, you will find some candidates who through direct interviews informed us they were exploring a race for this office. Several of these candidates informed us they were no longer exploring this office. In the case of candidate Doug Skaff, in Q3 we placed him in the poll with the understanding he was changing his party affiliation within weeks. He had not done so by Q4 polling, and therefore was not included in the Q4 poll.
