Election 2024 is gearing up and WV Statewide News has conducted a statewide poll on 6 key races.
WV Statewide News contacted likely Republican voters (those who have voted in at least 3 of the most recent primary elections). These voters represent a proportionate turnout by county. Meaning if there are more voters in a certain county, more responses were sought from those counties.
Each respondent to the poll was sent a link to an online poll featuring each race and each candidate’s position was randomized to ensure fairness.
Example of polling question
The poll received 1148 statewide responses. The accuracy of the poll is estimated to be 95% with a margin of +/- 5%. Polling will be conducted quarterly as the election draws closer.
