RFK Jr

Robert Kennedy Jr is a noted anti-Covid vaccine crusader much to the dismay of his family members, but his crusade for the environment came first and brought him to West Virginia.

Kennedy was a renowned environmental lawyer who led the fight to clean up the Hudson River in New York and shifted his focus in 2011 to coal mining in West Virginia – specifically mountaintop removal.

When interviewed by The Seattle Times Kennedy said:

“West Virginia has lost the capacity to govern itself,” says Robert Kennedy Jr. on the phone. “We need federal intervention.”READ THE SEATTLE TIMES ARTICLE HERE

Kennedy went on to call West Virginia a rogue state that allows the private interests of the mining industry to trump federal law and fundamental ownership by the American people of the nation’s air and water. His assertions were documented in the 2011 documentary “The Last Mountain”. In this documentary, his villain was none other than Massey Energy.

He also weighed in heavily on the documentary “Dark Waters” detailing attorney Rob Bilott’s battle with DuPont over water contamination in the Parkersburg area of West Virginia.

Educated at Harvard, the London School of Economics, University of Virginia and Pace University – Kennedy obviously has a pedigree and passion for public service.

On April 5, 2023 Kennedy filed paperwork to run for the president of the United States in the 2024 election as a Democrat. He joins fellow author Marianne Williamson (TX) as a primary challenger to President Biden.
